Using basic components like a microprocessor, a magnetic switch, and a display in a custom 3D printed enclosure, we provided valuable feedback for every manual speed adjustment. At the same time, we brought the system up to industry standards by adding motor overloads, accessible start/stop buttons, and e-stops.
